How much does a quote cost?
Nothing. We offer a free, no-obligation measure and quote for security screens, flyscreens and plantation shutters.
How does the quoting process work?
Send us the product and rough sizes and we'll give you a ballpark estimate. From there you receive an itemised quote, and we confirm your measurements with a check measure before anything is manufactured. See what to expect from measure to install.
How long is a quote valid?
Quotes are valid for 14 days from the date issued.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes. A 60% deposit is required on acceptance to lock in your job and get it into production. The remaining 40% is due on completion.
Do prices include GST?
Yes. All prices on our quotes include GST.
How do I pay?
Payment is by bank transfer. The details are on your quote, along with the reference to use.

What is the difference between Ultra Stainless and Diamond Grille?
Ultra Stainless uses woven stainless steel mesh and is our security range, with triple lock hardware on every door. Diamond Grille is a classic diamond-pattern grille chosen for its look. Our comparison guide covers style and budget.
Do you make hinged and sliding doors?
Yes. Both Ultra Stainless and Diamond Grille are available as hinged doors, sliding doors and window screens. Our hinged vs sliding guide helps you choose.
What is the difference between a flyscreen and a security screen?
A flyscreen keeps insects out. A security screen is built to resist forced entry, with tougher mesh, a stronger frame and proper locks. Read flyscreens vs security screens.
Do security screens block the view or airflow?
Not much, when you choose well. Fine mesh and darker colours give the clearest view from inside, and you can open the window or door behind the screen for ventilation. See views and airflow.
What are your plantation shutters made of?
Australian made polymer, which won't warp, fade or crack in Queensland heat and humidity. They come with a 10 year product warranty and a 20 year louvre warranty.
Do plantation shutters keep a room cooler?

Locks and security
What is triple lock?
A latch that engages at the top, middle and bottom of the door at once, instead of at a single point. Triple lock hardware is included on every Ultra Stainless door. Read triple lock explained.
What should I look for when buying security screens?

Can I install security screens in a rental?

Measuring, install and timing
Can I measure my own windows?
You can take rough measurements to get an estimate, but we confirm every size with a check measure before manufacturing. See how to measure for plantation shutters.
How long does it take from deposit to install?
Typically 3 to 5 weeks from receipt of your deposit, because every product is custom made.
How long does installation take?
Most residential jobs, such as a door or a handful of screens, are completed within a few hours. See what to expect on install day.
